So where does Ricky Ricardo come into the picture?  Well that's the name my yiayia gave Rick when she met him, and ever since then it's stuck............so she thinks I'm dating Ricky Ricardo!  

I'm sure you're all wondering how we met.  Well the story goes like this, it was a warm spring day (actually it was alittle chilly but..) and  I was dreading  the entire surgery rotation which were my last 3 months of 3rd year. What's worse was this one rotation: the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU): a surgeon's worst nightmare.  No surgery just surgical management of really sick people.  The thought of it made me quake in my clogs! And it just so happened that Rick was the resident covering nightfloat for the dreaded STICU.  As required for all students I had to take call, and Rick never let me sleep!  Yep I had to stay up with him and Bob (the other medical student)--he was so mean! Just kidding, he wasn't mean.  He was the nicest resident I ever met.  And I really liked him. He was sweet and funny and blah, blah, blah.  I know I'm boring someone so I'll cut to the chase I could go on forever about this!  So after my rotation on STICU was done, I moved to another service and waited a while and then asked him out.  And he said YES!  We've been together ever since.

Necessity supercedes talent.  This picture was taken after our first date, we starved ourselves all day and then went to Fez and had some incredible Moroccan cuisine!
