This is for all my students, I'm so proud of you!
Ever since I left teaching, you all have remained in my heart. I think about you all often, and wish I could be there to guide you and teach again. You guys have a special place in my heart. I will never forget you. I'm so proud to have been one of your teachers. I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Yawei and me at Graduation 2002
Yawei was one of my best students in Biology. I'll never forget all the Chinese she and Wen Chai taught me, "Nee How Ma?"

Ms. del Busto, Science Teacher at Curtis High School
When I first started working at Curtis, I was an Earth Science teacher. My AP saw that I was good with languages and decided to make me the English as a Second Language (ESL) Science Teacher. I started off with 1 class, that eventually turned into 3. I can't even begin to tell you the impact these kids had on me. I enjoyed going to work everyday and they enjoyed coming to class. You guys really changed my life. Thank you for that. Thank you for caring and for wanting to learn, and most of all thank you for letting me teach you all that I knew.

One day at a time, Curtis and life
To all my students--I am so proud of all your accomplishments. I worked you to the bone, and you guys always came through. I remember making your exams up with essays and realizing that this was probably harder than most tests--but you perservered and succeeded and now here you are. I know I was tough at times and sometimes I'd "go loco" but we had so much fun. I was so sad to leave and each time I came back to see you I just wanted to stay. I wanted to teach you all again. I was so happy to hear you were all going to college. I have a few quotes I'd like to share with you all:
"Never regard study as a duty, but as the enviable opportunity to learn" -Albert Einstein
"Live as if you were to die tommorow. Learn as if you where to live forever" -Gandhi
The world is your oyster, and you are the worlds pearl.
I dedicate the page to all my students at Curtis, some of whom I was not able to see graduate, and do not have their pictures here: Ling, Wen Chai, Peter..........just to name a few.
I wish you all happiness, health and wisdom. Good luck in all your future endeavors.
